From Alexxis Christine Photography to Lifestyle By Lex
Back in 2018, fresh out of the Navy and eager to build something of my own, I jumped headfirst into photography. I was about 24 years old and needed a name—something quick, something that would get me started. So I went with what was simple and popular at the time: Alexxis Christine Photography. First name, middle name, “Photography.” Done.
At the time, I was shooting everything: weddings, births, families, couples—you name it. I was figuring it out, one shutter click at a time. And honestly? I’m so proud of the foundation that name helped me build. It allowed me to grow, explore, and gain experience in the craft that lights me up.
But life has shifted. I’m now in my 30s, I’ve started a family of my own, and I’m seeing life through a lens that’s a little softer, a little more intentional, and a lot more personal. With that shift, came a realization: it was time for my brand to grow with me.

The name change was inspired by someone near and dear to me—my best friend, Coltin. He’s called me “Lex” for as long as I can remember, even back when I was going by “Lexxy” in high school. There’s something about the way he says it that just fits. It feels like me. It feels like home. And now, it feels like the perfect name to carry this next chapter of my business.
I chose “Lifestyle” intentionally. I’m no longer trying to do it all. I’m focusing on what makes my heart sing: capturing real, raw, and meaningful moments.
I'm no longer booking weddings a year in advance (because let’s be real—who knows where I’ll be in my motherhood journey at that time?!). I’m narrowing my scope to lifestyle sessions, families, and branding work, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it.

Motherhood has changed me deeply. I want to document everything for and with my son, and I want to offer that gift to other moms—at an affordable rate. Especially in this economy, we deserve to preserve our memories without the stress of breaking the bank.
After recently losing my father-in-law, I had the honor of going through his lifetime of photographs—scanning them in, preserving them for generations. It reminded me that photos aren’t just for Instagram—they’re legacy.
That’s why I’ve added something new: you can now order affordable prints and products directly from your online gallery. I don’t inflate the prices by 50-100% (because yeah…ouch). I just want you to be able to hold your memories in your hands, hang them on your walls, and keep them close.
